Technical Writer: Developer Audience

Palo Alto, CA

We are looking for a writer who is comfortable with Java and APIs (or perhaps a developer who likes to write) to create documentation that explains how to customize our data analysis products. Your efforts will put the power of Palantir in the hands of developers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Create and test example code, or synthesize a generic example from a specific case
  • Organize and write technical overviews and tutorials
  • Use infrastructure tools for integrated coding, issue tracking, and build management

Requirements

  • BS or equivalent experience
  • Experience documenting APIs and system architecture
  • Familiarity with Java or another object-oriented language
  • Excellent writing samples
  • Ability to work with engineers and internal specs to research new features
