Recruiting Events Specialist

Palo Alto, CA

As a Recruiting Events Specialist, you'll play a critical role in shaping Palantir's college and industry recruitment efforts. You will work closely with various engineering teams to identify new recruiting opportunities across US and international colleges, and will be responsible for coordinating and executing various recruiting events from classroom tech talks to campus-wide puzzle hunts. We are looking for someone to join our team who is passionate about our mission and understands the critical importance of attracting top engineering talent. Success in this position will rely heavily on your ability to take ownership of and manage multiple large projects, each with several moving parts. You must be able to roll with the punches when sudden changes arise, take initiative in problem solving, and demonstrate impeccable organization skills to ensure the flawless execution of our events. Lastly, we are unconventional thinkers - you must be able to look past the status quo for solutions and insights that help represent Palantir in the best manner possible.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, execute, and coordinate all logistics for college and industry recruiting-related events such as company info sessions, career fairs, tech talks, and conferences
  • Work with stakeholders to develop event outreach strategy in a manner that promotes transparency and creative decision making
  • Create advertising and marketing strategies for events
  • Track and maintain the inventory of swag give-a-ways
  • Work with design vendors to create unique booth displays and banners for events
  • Anticipate problems and create contingency plans for each event to overcome all potential pitfalls

Requirements

  • BA/BS required
  • Attention to detail and impeccable organization skills are a must
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to perform at a high level in high pressure situations
  • College Recruiting or Technical Recruiting experience at a tech startup is preferred
  • Strong work ethic and ability to take on multiple projects at once
