SQL Studio is a Foundry application for writing and executing SQL queries against datasets, tables, and object types. SQL Studio provides the full-screen SQL console view as a standalone application.

Using SQL Studio

SQL Studio supports two modes; data mode for querying datasets and tables, and object mode for querying object types. Unlike the contextual SQL console, which is embedded within individual resources, SQL Studio is accessible from the application sidebar as a standalone workspace for writing and running SQL queries.

You can access SQL Studio from multiple locations:

The applications menu.
The SQL Studio option in the embedded contextual SQL console.
When opening a SQL worksheet from the Compass browser.
